CarScanAI provides instant, AI-generated vehicle inspection reports. Because our service is digital and delivered immediately upon processing, refund eligibility is limited. We want every customer to have a fair experience, so we evaluate refund requests on a case-by-case basis within the guidelines below.

When You Are Eligible for a Refund

We will issue a full refund in the following situations:

  • Technical failure: Your report failed to generate due to a system error on our end.
  • Non-delivery: Payment was processed but no report was delivered within 10 minutes.
  • Duplicate charge: You were charged more than once for the same report.
  • Service outage: Our platform experienced downtime that prevented you from receiving your report.

When Refunds Are Not Available

Because our AI analysis is performed and delivered instantly, we cannot offer refunds in these situations:

  • Report was delivered successfully: Once the AI analysis is complete and the report is viewable, the digital service has been fully rendered.
  • Disagreement with findings: CarScanAI is an AI-assisted screening tool, not a professional inspection. AI analysis has inherent limitations that are disclosed before purchase. You acknowledged this via the pre-payment consent checkbox.
  • Photo quality issues: Our system warns you about photo quality before analysis begins. If you proceed with low-quality photos after receiving a warning, the resulting report reflects those limitations.
  • Change of mind: Deciding you no longer need the report after it has been generated.

How to Request a Refund

  1. Email support@carscanai.net within 7 days of your purchase.
  2. Include your order ID (found in your confirmation email or dashboard).
  3. Describe the issue — screenshots are helpful for technical problems.

We aim to respond to all refund requests within 24 hours. Approved refunds are processed within 5-10 business days to the original payment method.

If you believe you are eligible for a refund, please contact us first before filing a chargeback with your bank or credit card company. We are committed to resolving issues fairly and promptly. Filing a chargeback without contacting us first may result in account suspension.
